BETTER CARE BELOW THE SURFACE

Core Aeration

Good lawn care begins below the surface. Core aeration removes small plugs of soil to help relieve compaction and open a path for air, water and nutrients to reach your lawn’s roots.

WHY AERATE?

A little room can make a big difference.

Relieve compaction

Removing small soil cores creates space in compacted turf areas.

Reach the root zone

Openings help air, water and nutrients move into the soil.

Support healthier growth

Better soil conditions give lawn roots a more supportive place to grow.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Small soil plugs.
A better opening.

Core aeration leaves small plugs on the surface and openings in the lawn. The plugs naturally break down over time.

We’ll discuss whether aeration fits your property and schedule it around your grass type, growing season and site conditions.

Tell us about irrigation heads, underground features or access concerns when you request service so we can plan the work with you.

THE RIGHT SERVICE AT THE RIGHT TIME

Make it part of your lawn-care plan.

Aeration can complement a lawn treatment program. If you’re also considering seeding, soil testing or soil amendments, we’ll discuss those services and their timing separately.

Core aeration is a separately priced service. Recommendations, scheduling and results depend on your turf and site conditions. Equipment photos are illustrative examples, not photos of a Vitalawns job.
